Was 2007 the best year for gaming?
https://youtu.be/Oua_HXXZCSU

Came across this video and realized how goated 2007 was for gaming, I was 7 back then but I'm fortunate enough to have played Halo 3, CoD 4, Assassin's Creed 1, Uncharted Drake's Fortune along with a handful of others that released back then. I feel like it was the perfect year for gaming both on PC with the Orange Box release and consoles.

No. It was 2004.
My grandfather says it was.
A decade too late. 1994-1998 was the pinnacle of the industry.

Pixel graphics? You might as well spend the rest of your life playing connect 4 solo.
1907 was the best year for games. When people didn't stare at a screen like zombies:

- Chess and Checkers
- Backgammon: An ancient game still enjoyed by many during this period.
- Newer Releases:
Monopoly (1904)
Rook (1906)
Touring (1906)
"L'Attaque" was patented in 1907, featuring similar mechanics of hidden ranks and battlefield strategy.

Outdoor games

Baseball: A very popular pastime in the US, with professional leagues thriving.
Hoop Rolling: Children would race to see who could roll their hoops fastest, farthest, or for the longest time using a stick.
Marbles: Various games were played with marbles, often involving aiming for targets or betting them as prizes.
Hopscotch: A perennial favorite, with roots tracing back to the Roman Empire.
Tag & Catching Games: Simple chasing and catching games were enjoyed by children.
Hide-and-Seek: A classic game also played in the early 20th century.

Before 2019, but after 2006. Because had great games on this era. Modern games, but if you stop to see the retro era, is 1989 to 2005

Also people back then didn't spend 10 hours on a chair inhaling 4000-calorie foods while staring at a computer screen. Chairs today are constantly breaking due to the excessive mass on them.
