Sure why not? It's more about the type of person they are rather than what they look like that would be be a defining factor, appearance changes over time.

"Five-foot-anything" is my general rule. Of course exceptions can be made.

as for dating a shorty.
height is not an important factor in my dating.

still thats because I am ok with normal height...
but a normal woman is at least 1.70 meter..(5 feet 7) as thats below the average height of 1.76 m (5 feet 9) of woman.
most woman I dated were 1.78-1.82cm (6 feet to 6 feet 1)

having somebody just a little shorter than you are is the norm most seek for.
and at 1.90 meter.. woman of around 1.80m is normal.

dating a midget would be quite odd.. but well her being that short is not that big an issue.

My absolute dealbreakers are :
-her being not christian
-her smoking,
-her having tatoos
-her having had the covid jab

strong negatives would be :
-low IQ (I can accept mediocre 105+ despite myself being 140+ but I cannot stand dumb
-lowbrow/lowcultured (interest in politics, art, science etc good, interest in gossip and idols.. very bad, having good taste essential.. having bad lowbrow ghetto taste bad)
-being a barbydoll.. I like my woman a healthy farmersdaughter.. never shaven, never makeup, cheap in maintenance , practical in doing things herself, and modestly and underdressed. I find models usally downright ugly.. the more makeup you use the uglier you are and never shaven in your life should be the norm.
-having a severe fysical handicap (I can deal handicap but if they are like in a wheelchair or hyperalergic something that makes them housebound.. thats would feel like it chains me to the house too.. and I not like that.
-being another nationality and/or ethnicity especially if not dutch. (I don't like dating outside my own race, never felt atractive to anybody not white, unlikely to happen, and while I am ok with people from say scandanavia, germany, belgium aka very close to my own.. I still prefer a person from my own country)

on the other side... strong positives would be
- her being a bit a tomboy, a bit more crazy than me, like her the type to go skydiving or something like that.. to get me out my safe and comfortzone..
- her having a creative spark.. can be anything play a musical instrument, or craft art, or write.. anything
- her being strong, fysically.. while I not want her to be stronger than me.. her being stronger than most man are and almost as strong as me.. as part of breathing health I very much like.
- her being strong, mentally.. while I have fought myself up.... I still can be a quitter if when I put in efford I cannot be the best in anything.. like if I could not get an 8/10 minimum at school I would drop a class it would feel like failing even though officially 6/10 still is passing.. that high norm means I cannot deal with putting efford in things I cannot excell in.. I highly respect people who can.. and who can push onwards despite their disadvantage...like I respected the person with the lowest passing grade in my highschool more than anybody else.. for I may have been a nerd who was best due being smart + efford.. I knew the only one who did put in more efford than me was her.. yet so little to show for it.. I would have never be that strong to deal with having to fight that hard just to barely belong.. I respect it.. greatly!
-her having baggage, something for me to cure..
her having self-worth issues, or a trauma, or even a handicap like borderline or adhd is a positive to me.. It gives me something to show my love and care to her, and people who have baggage are more well rounded and often better people.

height does not at all play a part in any of this.. though ofcourse in the strenght liking part.. height can play a part.. but hey a short midget that is tough as nails and kicks well above her weight and heighclass.. that can still be atractive..

thats far from a given and depends on the person..

but it would certainly be odd to date a person almost halve my own height..

If I were worthy of love, sure, as long as deh were an ethical peep, can’t abide bad peeps.

Short women are cool, as are tall women, and medium women and…er, I guess women are jus cool in general.
