Like Earth itself, perhaps Russians aren't real. This is why whatever you're focused on, no matter how obscure and how low the odds, someone who knows about it also will appear in your life. When I was learning Russian (never got very far at the time), some Russian speakers appeared. When I was fixated on Hawaii and septenary gematria (1 to 7 and back down to 1), someone who'd lived in Hawaii and knew the language appears. And he was born on 11/7, one half pi (22/7). The USA was founded in 1776, which is the sum of all digit permutations of 314.

We, in the West have our "built in" issues too.

Russians went from serfdom to industrialisation while skipping all the stages in between. They are not unique in this as many societies skipped from a medieval socio-economic structure directly to an industrialised society and all of them are having issues in one form or other due to this.
