Trump is a narcissistic for sure but I still think a decent guy trying to do the best for his country and doing some very good things, making tough choices no one else would ever dare. Honestly, U.S culture is MUCH better than it was fifty, even thirty years ago. These common ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ you're referring to are from the times of absolute ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ therefore it's what they know, it's who they are.

In the US celebrities get away with anything, especially if they're rich. Americans love rich people, even the ones they hate.

I care. Sure, when I got older I found out he was a human being and not perfect, but I am still thankful and appreciate what he gave to me when I was a kid. Maybe it wasn't a reflection of who he really was, but the whole Hulkamania thing was at the core about being a good person. There was a period in the 80's with him and Mr.T saying things like drink milk and learn about road safety, and they almost made it cool. I get it, they were probably doing cocaine and prostitutes in the backstage area, but I learned during recovery sometimes you are in a bad landscape and you just have to take anything good you can find. Like finding a gold nugget on a battlefield or something.
