Hardest instrument to play?

Flute is difficult. I own one. But did not get a single tone out of it yet. Yeah that's right, it felt off when i tried it (not even sure i assembled it right). I want to learn at some point.

Imo, having (unsuccessfully) tried many, I think harp or violin would be up there.

I've seen a one man band playing 3-5 things at the same time so I guess they can't be that hard.

He was Chairman of Music for the city. Learned to play every orchestral instrument, and had began to learn folk instruments. I remember him expressing his frustration with trying to get used to playing the Bagpipe. Yes, it is a beautiful instrument, but he IS correct, it's actually very difficult to play.

I don't know if you can because you have to do the cymbals with your knees
