the difficulty of reading a psychology paper without having the background to understand it causes most people to self diagnose with some form of add just trying to figure out if they match the diagnostic criteria.

Because of the western world being stressful and ripe for anxiety.

Personally, I think people engage in behaviour that over time makes it much more difficult for them to concentrate for lengthy amounts of time, but it's easier to blame a disease then it is to take responsibility and change habits.

That's my take on a lot of it.

i don't know what HD is but my doctor said i have eighty of them

adhd is over diagnosed in males and especially in usa where alot of medical companies want to sell adhd meds this does in return hurt the ppl who actually have it not every messy kid has adhd likely becuse its easy to spot in men its genetic and had some advantages in past but now it just cause issues depending on severity but that also depends on how early its spotted in adulthood it can cause a crap ton of issues if it been ignored like lack of impulse control high anxiety and stress for you cant turn it off constant pain due to all the stimuli and problem finishing tasks and manage eating with adhd long term rewards dont work but short term rewards you can get tasks done fast

it's fashionable and all you need to do is check 6 of 9 boxes twice. Easy to find a whitecoat too that makes it official, especially if you sign up for taking the related drugs. Everyone gets what she's after and the world continues the tailspin...
