Meeting people via your social circle, hobbies and community.
Forgot to mention that meeting the complete strangers on dating apps is the cause of something like the tea app thing existing.
🎔 Lowering your standards and practically marrying a person you despise.
🎔 Coming home after a stressful day at work, and spending the next 7 hours listening to a screaming ungrateful bot.
🎔 Having kids and then regretting the decision for the next 60 years.
🎔 Going to church with family and listening to a preacher who is lowkey laughing at everyone there bc they believed the "traditional" ways of life would bring them peace.
Don’t have to be that bleak. You’re looking back when women couldn’t get their own bank accounts and credit cards. And that was not that long ago. It was the 1960-70s and before that women needed their husband’s consent. So, you might have witnessed the aftereffects of marraige being a necessity for women to live a functioning adult life. Women settled down young and most likely picked for practicality. Luckily, we don’t live in those times anymore. At least for some parts of the world.
My parents have bad taste in men. So, no for me.
I don't understand how anyone uses the apps since they're just full of bots and scammers.
The internet is so full of fake people (bots), that the only way to meet real people is, you know, actually meeting real people.
It's estimated that by the end of next year, 90% of all content online (videos, posts, replies, messages, etc) will be created by bots.
Eventually the internet and social apps will be so useless people will have to go out and meet people locally, like they used to pre-internet, if they want any genuine human interactions.
