Holding Cups with Two Hands
I saw a post several years ago in the forums that lives rent free in my head. It was talking about how much they hated cringe people that hold their cups with two hands.

Now I must know for sure: Do I give people the ick for holding my cup securely with both of my grippers?

Someone solve this for me.
Still going to do it though.

Bonus question is if it doesn't bother you, whats something similar that does? Mine is people using the word ick and grippers. Thanks.

Yeah it's kinda cringe especially if you are wearing some kind of large baggy clothing like wool and maybe sitting with your feet up on the seat next to a frosty window which you gaze out of whistfully like a woman in a TV ad or something.
What about holding a tampon with both hands?
Yes, unless it's a cup a soup.
Maybe they have shaky hands.

If you're a male, then yes, if you're a female, I find it cute, John.

It tells me that people are living a sheltered life in mommy's basement playing video games all day on their state of the art gaming PC bought by their mom.

I have a 75oz steel water bottle. It is 5 inches in diameter, measured. I don't even drink out of that with two hands, and no, it doesn't have a handle on it either.

I’ve honestly never seen someone do that, even a big flask you use one hand.

Other than this lmao, and it’s usually like ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ October which isn’t even cold
i do find myself using both hands when i'm holding a cup or bowl that is filled with liquids. i don't want it to spill, i guess. if it's like half way then no. one hand is enough for me.
I do it in winter to warm the hands.

I have never heard of people finding it odd to hold cups with both hands..
The thought of holding it with just one hand instills a fear into me of dropping the cup and spilling everything;

Mm, I've had that happen to me already.
I kept walking and carrying the hot tea into my room, only for the ear to fall off and everything falling at my ankles.. Well, almost so.
Luckily for me, the liquid exploded into unnatural directions and missed me by a bit.

So, yeah..
In case the ear breaks, the other hand supports it to prevent the otherwise fatal fall of my favorite cup.
Also, being seen dropping the cup sounds as embarrassing as it does, so.. I do gotta keep up my own standards reasonably high.
I do recall reading some stuff of only the royalties holding it with both hands or something more than ten years ago. I guess, it has stuck with me ever since..
