Ascendance of a Bookworm made me shed a tear or two. I don't usually get emotional but it is just that good.

If you like action I recommend GATE and Saga of Tanya the Evil.
Vision of Escaflowne
Do you have a cold, OP?

hmm, in that case i recommend berserk (1997). it only covers a small portion of the manga overall, but it is considered to be a masterpiece. the animation is beautiful, the voice acting is iconic and started the careers of many seiyuu, and the music is incredible.

I will give it a try eventually but im looking for something with more happy moments and raw traveling purpose...i dont know how to explain...like the main purpose of the main character would be to see the world you know? Or something like that. I know there is traveling in that anime but i want to say uh...imagine that even if it has dark moments in it, the most important purpose is to travel not to conquer.

maybe spice and wolf?

it is having serious moments, but overall it is very light hearted and more about the journey. the anime version of it is pretty iconic, one of those gateway animes that got a lot of people into the hobby.
