...That's not how the military in America works.

Also they've been trying to get younger generations to be recruited for a while now.

And the only people that are joining are only there for the education benefits that come along with the training and most of the time the people who are there for said benefits are praying a war not to happen.

Granted there are those who join the military to seek a purpose in their life but are reluctantly declining to join due to Vietnam Veterans are being treated like trash after their service is done... and no one wants to comeback from a war only to find out there's not future for them after their done fighting and with said education benefits that may come along with... will not help getting them a home the moment they come back from deployment.

If anything we need schools to discipline the younger generation so that we wouldn't have them disrespecting teachers and acting like they know everything in the world cause of their phones due to their parents thinking school is a day care and are too tired from work to care.

Cause if a cop has to discipline someone else's kids because the parents don't want to or can't do it themselves... pretty sure that might be the only sane option if you want the newer generation of kids, teens and young adults to NOT act like privileged jerks thinking they can gain a following through simply joining the wrong crowd of people that more often than not leads them to trouble.

...Also I don't think you're not going to go to war and will chicken out and deal with the prison time instead for the next 3-5 years so that you'll live to see another 2 decades.

Me? I just pray no war will happen cause I am not conditioned to survive in a war and will probably die from tripping on a small rock while wearing heavy stuff on me.

Can we first start off with the rich people first, from the top down please. Lets make it fair at least. Poor people suffer enough with poor schooling, housing, living in crime filled area's etc without joining the military.

Military service and public service are nothing but a waste of time that reduce the labour. Italy and other civilizated countries have already removed the military service and any other kind of services, changing their army into a professional army only.

It's not drafting, it's national service. It's like college but you're in the army and you learn skills, qualifications, discipline and fitness.
