Carry a lamp around in the daytime and ask if there are any honest people.

Do their words align with reality?
Do their actions align with their words?

If the answer is yes, then perhaps you met an honest person.
A quick look at your post history shows that you claim to be a college graduate.

And all 18 of your posts are video game related.

You won't meet people and it's not worth typing out any more than that.

how to extract useful information, normally torture would work, tie them in a chair in some basement in the middle of nowhere, ask them what they do for a living and how they do it.

remove the chair, cuff them from behind, and tie them to the ceiling, they will speak about anything they know eventually.

but this isnt the place people talk about things they know, its where they get planted in their head things they dont know nor understand.

That writing sample is riddled with errors.

Is this typical of what colleges are passing these days?

This is not worth my time and I will bow out of this one. Have a nice day.

Don't matter what you say I'm proud of myself, I'm walking across that stage again.

You can't selectively meet honest people. Honesty and integrity is something you get to know over time.

Well, actually you can, kind of.
As the saying goes - "Birds of a feather flock together".

There's a similar beautiful Japanese proverb -
人の性格が分からない時は、その人の友達を見なさい。
(Hito no seikaku ga wakaranai toki wa, sono hito no tomodachi o minasai.)
- When you are unsure of a person's character, look at their friends.

The above can be interpreted in the opposite direction as well - When you are sure of a person's character, they are more likely to surround themselves with people alike.

Good luck!
