Henlo frens, I has bad news unfortunately, Trump has enacted a fingy dat says dat all mentally ill peeps and homeless peeps are to be incarcerated, so I might not be on OT fir much longer.

As such, I jus wanted to say, dat I has had a good time talkin’ wif chu peeps, and I’ll miss chu.

No fren, all my family live here, and aboot half of dem voted fir Trump, I cannot flee.

Besides, I’m poor and disabled, I physically couldn’t leave le country even if someone else offered to pay fir it, all I can do is sit here and wait fir my doom.

Like I said above doh, I might be able to hide out in some remote or unpleasant location, but wif my disability, my odds of perishin’ der would be almost as bad as deh would in le concentration camps.

Tanks chu fren, I hope chu live in an actually sane country, knowin’ at least some of my Steam buds are safe is a comfortin’ thought.

Doh, I was jus listenin’ to a beardmin, and apparently, dis new order fingy’s definition of “mentally ill” is super vague so deh can use it to target LGBTQ+ peeps as well, so, I might get to meet some cool and decent peeps as deh drag us all off to le death camps at least.

It is indeed, le current administration is vury bad.

Many peeps in dis are country are strugglin’ wif mental illness, because earlier generations polluted our air and water really badly, and we can’t afford le mental healthcare we need.

Dis administration’s response? Abolish Medicare, imprison all mentally ill peeps in concentration camps, and unban both lead paint and asbestos-based insulation. Even doh dos two pollutants has been directly linked to a huge number of neurological disorders.

Yup, I jus heard aboot dat a little while ago, anyone attemptin’ to help le homeless or downtrodden are also gettin’ hauled away.

I thought this was just for homeless with mental health disorders or for open air drug use? Either way involuntary commitment is usually reserved for dangerous people (to themselves and other etc). Drug usage isn't inherently suicidal. So this really broadens things and it will prob just be to sweep up homeless and put them somewhere involuntarily where they could face abuse and be in danger in close proximity to others, similarly to what we see in shelters. I'm not sure how i feel about this and don't know all the details as of yet. Iv'e heard very little.

puggly i really hope such things do not come to pass, but i will remain optimistic and be thinking that you will be okay despite these new laws. i know things are dystopian in usa right now, so please stay safe. flee if you must, even if only with the clothes on your back.

If worst comes to worst fren, I promise I’ll try my best to hobble my way across le Canadian border, but I don’t fink I’ll get vury far before le gestapo catches meh.

Still, I’m gonna try as hard as I can to stay alive, if only cause I don’t want to make my ma or my Steam frens sadge.
