Given that all of them post the exact same comments whenever locking threads, I assume they've been given clear instructions not to say anything other than what is on the list (and the list consists of reasons to lock threads).

They are moderators, they are not here to chat.

i don't think one can remain impartial if they are in the same arena. its only right that they do not participate as a regular user 👍

But chatting is a form of moderation. When they level up they'll realize this and try to resolve disputes like advanced moderators, instead of just swinging the hammer the instant someone gets out of line.

I wonder what the Steam mod room looks like. DO they all just sit around in an office space at their own PCs, or do they get to work from home? Can you imagine such a thing? Working from home, policing the Steam forums? Must be an incredibly dull life.

You're complaining that conservative slop posts get locked here or removed despite the fact they're not. I'm just giving you your own piece of advice you give to people who don't like US's current policies.
