trying to find a song from the 90s or early 2000's

unfortunately i dont remember any lyrics but i remember the video:

a guy in either a baseball cap or similar white hat has a camera afixed to his hip and is filming him the entire time. he's walking all over a city's night life, through streets and into random corridors and clubs, etc. He's also intermitantly singing the song.

Either the song or the band name had the word "DEER" in it.

thank you for trying but its not the verve.

The camera is attached to his hip or chest and as his head moves and he pivots his body the camera is always fixed to his torso and you only see his head and eyes moving as he walks around a city.
