It says the offender was arrested and is being convicted... Are they protesting to try and get him free?
They're protest it happened and was hidden. The U.K. police have been actively hiding these rapes because its being mostly done by middle eastern migrants. That's why, if you listen to cable news and print media out of the U.K. they say "asian," instead of middle-eastern even when these do get revealed. And they're doing this while people are getting arrested for saying they don't like mass illegal immigrants on twitter and a major task-force is being levied by the U.K. national government to spy on social media posts for "hate speech."
Basically it's not a protest about the guy in question, but the system that protected him
If the government has arrested the guy and punishing him, what's the issue?
Those demonstrations are at a particular hotel that is being used to house illegal immigrants. An illegal immigrant committed a crime and was arrested. The event caused local demonstrations and the locals want the hotel closed down.
That's the end of it really, there is no giant conspiracy plot by the government. The far-right want to try to sell it as riots in the UK or some-such rubbish.
Illegal immigration in the UK is largely caused by the fact that they all come from France and they refuse to stop them coming and refuse to accept them back, which poses a bit of a problem for the UK. Both left and right wing governments have failed to sort the problem out. Obviously, it is a concern for people, but no one really knows what the solution is, short of bombing France!!
The main issue is the lack of will to solve the true reasons behind the migration of people, because it's *expensive* or politically awkward.
people are reluctant to do anything but knee jerk react to issues in a surface way, whereas we, as a society, need to dig a bit deeper to solve the real, but less media sexy, causes.
our media also currently leans to the right.
