"Valve No Longer Controls Steam"
I suggest Valve accept crypto, maybe on a sister platform, and offer the games that payment processors wont accept over there.

The people who fight against cryptocurrency as a concept are really in-favor of Credit card companies and banks getting to decide who to serve. Like what's happening here and now.

This is what you wanted idiots, you reap what you sow.
You never had control. That's the illusion.
Quantum Computing is going to make crypto worthless via Shor’s Algorithm, Grover’s Algorithm, et al.

I never was involved with crypto currency, did I miss much? It's not news to me yet I'm inexperienced.

But Valve is theoretically accepting crypto blood money if you decide to pay via skrill. Imho it should be banned entirely.

Looks like we have a spammer with a hijacked account in here...
Can we all just agree that crypto and everyone who's into it are just cringe?

It was cringe back in the early 2010s. “We crypto nerds wanna be taken seriously, so we can buy our own pacifiers via bitcoin.”

But nowadays our former crypto brats are oftentimes criminal to the bones.

Paypal just announced they'd be enabling crypto purchases.
Were they censoring Steam too? Or were they just contacted to help censor Steam?

cryptocurrencies allow for peer to peer transactions, no third parties involved. It means no need for banks, no need for payment processors and no central authority. Only the person sending the money and the receiving party are involved, no third party.
They cant accept crypto by law. All transactions in America must by done by the U.S. dollar. Full stop, no questions, you may not use crypto for a trade in other goods or services. Sorry but this isn't an option. On a practical note crypto is so ineffecient energy wise it's not a viable alternative anyway. It's a good -idea- but it's just not effecient.
