Im pretty sure this is obvious to anyone, lol.
The golden age of piracy put it in no uncertain terms: paying for games hurts profits. Charging for games, hurts the company. It is only through mass market manipulation and pressure exertion that the appearance of contractual labor conditions are maintained and exerted. This is not profitable; it is more profitable if they are simply given away for free. It's been proven in every media class.
So really the only purpose this economy has is to perpetuate the idea and appearance of slavery and being overwhelmed. Of domination.
YES thats the thing. i can buy old consoles at old video game stores where old consoles are being sold but again i still have many games on steam i wanna play. i mean heck idk why when i was a kid i simply stuck with psp. maybe i will buy ps2 if i have a kid. IF.
btw what do you do with these point ? i simply used them to award comments or reviews.
A bit hypocritical to say that when you have 500+ games, lol.
In multiplayer games each player has their own version of reality. I mean that. What you see on your screen is just a close approximation of what everyone else sees. Client-side prediction, speed of light contraints, all that gets in the way of a true shared experience.
Sometimes you can see the smoke and mirrors, like when someone shoots you AFTER you run around the corner. That's what it looked like to you, not them. They're not cheating, it's just they're not sharing the exact same world you're playing in.

I'm in my 40s. Even if I were to quit my job today and do nothing but play games for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for the rest of my life, given average life expectancy I still would not be able to make it through all of them.
This was a very sobering realization for me, and I try and be pickier about what I pick up these days.
