cannot play all video games .....
there are so many video games discounts and new games being released i honestly feel overwhelmed. i mean i still haven't tried witcher 3 dlc, factorio space age and there are old games i wanna play like gears of war trilogy, infamous, uncharted, grant turismo 2 and many more. it feels weird that i am basically complaining that i cannot play every single game but yeah thats really my issue.

i can only play 1 game at a time or i can simply divide my time to play games one by one. i mean i cannot put 1 hour into 3 games at same time unless i really want to get rid of the joy of playing games but yeah i feel weird ... its just time moves faster when i play game and SLOW like snail when i am at work.

does anyone feel this way ? i mean i know many games that i have not touched despite buying it from steam sales. GOSH steam sales. back in the day its simple the autumn spring summer winter sale but now there's a new sale. i mean there is racing games sale so yeah iam overwhelmed witt this option.

i also wanna try many things. board games, tabletop rpg, trading card games, solo board game even and many more i haven't discovered yet.

does anyone feels this way ?

Im pretty sure this is obvious to anyone, lol.
Think about how long and how much money went into building this catalogue, the ease of distribution and access, and how long and how much it would take to cash out on an obviously insolvent reality; one that is a barrier to its own profitability.

The golden age of piracy put it in no uncertain terms: paying for games hurts profits. Charging for games, hurts the company. It is only through mass market manipulation and pressure exertion that the appearance of contractual labor conditions are maintained and exerted. This is not profitable; it is more profitable if they are simply given away for free. It's been proven in every media class.

So really the only purpose this economy has is to perpetuate the idea and appearance of slavery and being overwhelmed. Of domination.

I buy only games I want to play, and some cheap puzzle games like Zup! and Oik to gain access to Point Shop backgrounds if those backgrounds are more expensive on the market. So not quite. I also don't care about sales because a higher price means more points for items. I've gifted several games so I can get more points from the purchases.

btw what do you do with these point ? i simply used them to award comments or reviews.
Why would you WANT to play all video games? So many of them are bad.

A bit hypocritical to say that when you have 500+ games, lol.

I was really bugging out one night on the fact that your character doesn't really move, the world moves around him, and I can't see video games the same way any more.

Is it the same with multiplayer games?

In multiplayer games each player has their own version of reality. I mean that. What you see on your screen is just a close approximation of what everyone else sees. Client-side prediction, speed of light contraints, all that gets in the way of a true shared experience.

Sometimes you can see the smoke and mirrors, like when someone shoots you AFTER you run around the corner. That's what it looked like to you, not them. They're not cheating, it's just they're not sharing the exact same world you're playing in.

I once did the math on my backlog using howlongtobeat.com.

I'm in my 40s. Even if I were to quit my job today and do nothing but play games for 12 hours a day, 7 days a week for the rest of my life, given average life expectancy I still would not be able to make it through all of them.

This was a very sobering realization for me, and I try and be pickier about what I pick up these days.
