"Social Media" Detoxing
Hey guys. Long time no see. I've finished my second semester and planned to do art commissions. That's not the point here. The point here is for me to take a step back and not doomscroll my already sorrow and uncertain mindset into the medium full of frauds masquerading as internet heroes that's certain of their ideals. Instead, i want to do something that can clear my mind while engaging with clients if there is one. that also means i have to use social media regardless. Is there any tips or website that i can use?

if your student debt scheme is to stay in school forever collecting degrees, you need to be in school for the summer. meaning taking two one month courses at least.

I think you should be telling OP that, not me. I just wanted to know what second semester. But I think its obvious now. Probably college I think.

is saying "uk based system" good enough? I can't really tell how much difference it is in the US. technically it's uk based because a lot of our education is based on the uk to begin with.

or semester two that you think?

If its like this, "Grade School, high school, then college" then no, its not different.
ok, then, the thing is social media is controlled by bots. if one won't tell you how to do it somehow, then you won't fit the schema. generally speaking if the information is available it's outdated, and thus ineffective, but can support existing investment in larger or previous campaigns. so they might give you some bumps, but you might also run into an oppositional limit and lose position for seemingly no reason.

so I don't know what the rules are, and if anyone told me they would have to change most likely.

I got artwork commissions by networking however having a folio gallery online helped me. I'd suggest making a personal website to showcase your existing work in order to present what you can do. The majority of initial work I get is from clients asking "can you do something like this" as a reference before going into details with skill sets i.e. some clients are visual people.

Come with me some time to the high end galleries here.

When I go to the strip, sometimes I am looking for one to sell my art in. Later on, it is a near certainty that I will open one.

For the OP:

Your goal is to get from here:

To here:

The good news is that with things like art; there are natural paths for you to enjoy and focus on. What you will find is that as you rise up and improve yourself, you simply won't need to be a slave to any screen.

You will have more to offer and then everything electronic can fall back to a part-time thing that doesn't wreck your life.

Good luck!

i sold my soul to the devil lizard "people" and got myself an instagram account. well, my university club uses instagram as past event stuff, with me a flag spinning guy, so there goes my secondary use. i like it for not so outrageous recommendation. hope i don't fall into reels and make myself a racist.
Hey guy. I didn't even miss when you were gone, cause I don't know who you are cause all my social media pages, the endless log in's to write to my twitch fans, my pen pals overseas, and some women in jail that I get to type to then screen for stuff I can't say here, that are waiting to get out.

I am happy you found art work cool in school, I don't think you can sell much art online but I wish you well in doing so, maybe you can even sell the art and tell everyone what it's worth in game, then sell it on the steam store or force the steam store to run like the big city markets are run.

I think maybe you should start with html code, then maybe move to java when making a web page, cause you should just use a web page, you should host or pay someone to host your own.

Thanks for typing up this post, wish you lots of luck.
