No. Not even a little. Id start using a VPN or cut the internet entirely

Technically it does. ID at least is required to sign up for internet service.

yeah but thats for payment reasons and you dont need your full I.D. the issue isnt having a name on record it's having a full legal name, picture, government I.D. number, and birthday all in the same exact photo so it cant be denied. Having a system with jsut a shorthand name and credit card number isnt the same risk

It will be the case if the situation keeps deteriorating, but first they will need an event to legally justify it...
