Senior Blackstone executive killed in shooting
Wesley LePatner a senior executive in Blackstone is one of four murder victims due to a shooting in Manhattan yesterday.
I think we have seen more corporate assasinations/accidents over the last few years and it seems like it is often high ranking members of different corporations.

Do you think it is just unlucky people? being in the wrong spot at the wrong time or do you think there is an active war (corporate war) going on or even just an angry population that target them.

Personally I think it is sad, that it has come to this, all life is precious and I feel sorry for the families of the four victims in this case.

Supposedly the guy had CTE from playing football and was supposedly going after the NFL (whose offices are also there), but he didn't know his way around the building, so he shot whomever he found. I'm sure the conspiracy theories are already underway though.

That could very well be the case and that would make sense.
But I just find it odd how many big corporate staff that dies now a days.
It is insane to think that a person would just shoot random people, even if they had CTE from their work..

I guess this time it is just being unlucky and at the wrong place at the wrong time.

no it's a continuation from Luigi, because one person did it, other people think they can do the same.

However shooting random investorbros isn't going to change anything

It is a violent places compared to many western countries, but there are countries in the united states that are decent and some of the countries have regions within them that are very safe
And again, nothing of value was lost. People are fed up with greedy corporations.

One thing i think we can agree on, that it is unacceptable to kill ppl just because they are rich?

As I said. I don´t understand how someone could kill "innocent" people that had nothing to do with it then.. there is no logic behind that.

Does it matter? How good or bad you personally perceive a person to be isn't grounds for execution.

I dont know who that person is who was killed

My only stance is that social murder (i.e. inadequate access to healthcare due to high costs) should be frowned upon
