Spending 6,000+ hours on TF2. I can count on one hand the amount of genuine fun moments I've had with the game.
i lost contact with a friend for a while and when his wife left him and took the kids, he took his own life and i still feel guilty about not being there for him.

A funny thing about regret is that it's better to regret something that you've done than to regret something that you haven't done. And, by the way, if you see your mother this weekend, tell her... Satan Satan Satan!

Yeah, Batman's richer. :P
Strive to never regret anything. No matter which choice it is you've made, it has led you to the place you are now, as will future choices. In the grand scheme of things it is all neutral. Regret only exists for you to cause yourself more agony.
I don't regret things the way other people seem to I can't hold grudges against myself. It's about acceptance for me.

note: accepting something doesn't mean I agree with it though.
not recognising that my previous cat was suffering heavily her final day when she passed, i mistakenly believed she was still coming to out of anesthesia.

I didn't join the miltary when I was younger, and let my split personality have a field day.

I picked instead to go down the boring path of safety.
