If you're talking about unholy acts, murder is literally a prohibition of the ten commandments for one thing.

For another, murder and rape are co-equal offenses. You can try to argue that one is worse than another using different points but it would be a tenuous argument either way. Why shouldn't they be compared? If bad games cause bad people to do bad things as the logic so goes, then murder games ought to cause people to murder as much as rape games cause people to rape. Why wouldn't the two be compared?

You're just too desensitized to violence by playing so many video games. Clear evidence that video games should be banned. >_>

Equally bad in real life, but in fiction, normal violence can be enjoyable while the other thing is still messed up.

I'm pretty sure you're addicted to the point that you need lots of mental health evaluations and tremendous amounts of therapy because of that way of thinking.

I get gooners will be gooners. But at the end of the day they're still people with a problem that heavily stresses them to the point they got addicted to something not cause they wanted to.
It's because whatever is happening in their life is causing them to constantly go back to it as a way to escape and relieve themselves from it.

Whoever made that post that you mentioned needs to get therapy immediately.
Cause no one in their right mind would consider sexual assault is equal to death in games.

Cause both are DRASTICALLY different from each other and more often than not victims of rape have to go to therapy a lot in order to avoid suicidal thoughts from a traumatic experience with other that also experienced it.

You could make the argument that it's not real due to it being in a video game... but mate there are tons of stories out there that says otherwise and trying to make it not a big issue just makes it even worse to discuss about.

There was literally a video game that has rape as it's main gimmick and it got banned in multiple countries because of it glorifying the illegal act as if it was normal.
Even if the characters in the game were not real. Doesn't change the fact that it was literally a borderline depraved subject to use for a game.

Worse part about this whole fiasco is that WHAT games will be affected by these new policies and what reasons why it these games got affected.
Obviously the NSFW games that has the most ****ed up things known to man.

But what about games that don't got those depraved things and borderlines between the middle?
...Cause Cyberpunk 2077 has a lot of things that'll make anyone who isn't thick skinned to be offended by.

Like the fact that after the events of the heist failed Evelyn gone into hiding and experienced an implant malfunction in her head and got traded off to multiple people while being used as a literal sexdoll when her body was comatose but her mind is still aware of her surroundings state and then eventually commits suicide after you and Judy rescue her after being sold off to scavengers as she couldn't handle the trauma from what she's been through.

Yes, the "debate" around social mores often boils down to people asking "Says who?" and not much else.

Murder is always and shall always be the single worst things a man can do another man. That's it, there is no debate on this, at least not that I'm going to listen to. Ending of life is absolution. Rape, torture, attempted murder, all horrid but the people are still alive and capable of bringing their lives back to normal. Murder a man is gone, period, end of story. There can be nothing worse. We might be able to differenciate on types of murder like serial or ritual killings versus say killing a business partner to aid in fraud but....it's all murder.

Being mad at rape in a game while being okay with genocide, murder, and other such details is between silly to wildly inappropriate application of emotion.

Some things are worse than death. A lot of things.

Me when I realize I can storm in “the unicorn club” in grand theft auto 5 with an assault rifle.
