People's Republic of Australia is banning Youtube for teens and kids.
It seems comrade Albanese wants to replicate china's success and censorship. Before anyone says it's only for kids, policies are always pushed in bite size chunks. I wonder what is next. Social credit score?

Hopefully this will push everyone to rumble and google will die. Youtube is the only google thing I use anymore, evil, evil company.

And every censorship bill in the usa will fail this year. But I have little hope of that.

This is going to happen in more and more countries.

Governments love to control people. Even governments we think are all for freedom. Especially right-wing governments, and the West is quite right-wing at the moment.

minor should never access to internet until adult. full of falsehood on social media. it corrupt morals and culture. impressionable youth follow 'trends' both domestic and foreign that can harmful.

That nostalgic yearning for the days when no one gave a damn about children or how that blasted media influenced their fragile little minds. Good times indeed. Just shove the brats outside and forget them. No one ever wanted those pests cluttering the internet anyway ...

Apples start scanning your phone for piccies
And papers have to be shown linking your id to your hardware and browsing habits

Not banning just tightening security in the name of protecting minors. It will require every single citizen in Australia to be identified properly
