Does the ottoman empire recognize any of their breakaway colonies
Like syria, greece, iraq, saudi, hordan egypt, palestine, transjordan

I bet they never recognized any of the new countries made out of its 400 year rule

also ottoman already lost control of egypt, saudie and greece before ww1

What sparked WW1, I believe, was communists murdering the Russian Royal Family.

I could be wrong.

soviet didnt exist in 1914

Before World War 1 the Ottoman Empire was in shambles. It was a shell of its former self. If anything those countries were actively fighting for their freedom and independence.

Looks like it does recognize them from wikipedia

It recognizes even greece, israel, and palestine
