Ideas for an academic project
do any high iq, intellectual steam users (high test only) have examples of projects they did or ideas that they have but will never execute that others could do for them
personally i need to produce a project (research/academia focused) and write a paper about it (computer science in a prestigious ivy league university). but i need to litmus test The /offtopic/ community On the Form for their intellectual quotient so any ideas for any topic are acceptable.
No Midwit ideas, thank you.
Thank you.

Write about open source and how great freedom is tied it too it... Most of us are in a walled garden being baby sat, so you can write about how the next gen will change tech by allowing for more freedom or you will write about the corps putting camera's in your house trying to get you show what little soul you have left.
You could also write about the Infrared lasers, light refraction, how the next gen put'ering will be most done with light. Lot of papers, lots of people writing on it, it's in the dump pile of horse sh*t media cause they hire interns who don't want to write about the slop that take 3 years to sort through before everyone gets fired. But they file with the courts and get their pension or a pay off before the face even hits the door, ♥♥♥♥♥♥ bastards.

A paper about how Oracle makes the worst software
Write about software that you sold and collected user data, then got robbed on the street out of nowhere one day. Then you came back wrote about code about machines that killed people.

You could do a lot of fun stuff really.
I don't know, there really isn't enough lawyers in the world... maybe switch go to school for law, and get your entrance letter thrown in the trash.
I fall clearly in said group, mensa member, but my phd is in theoretical physics in with a master in general physyc and theology, and a bachalor in pastoral counceling.
I also have took a lot of extra classes in sociology and psychology.

so I cant hook you up here with any internship in if this is your final promition scription

but well in IT todays horlt item is ofcourse AI, I hear IT members at memsa and my brothers who work in IT talk how their job "has changed beyond recognition" within just the last month.
-given these are themselve smart people who have been in that buisnuiss since the 80s.. I take it at face value .

describing this radical change and its future projection that basicly renders all it knowledge learned until now obsolete.. would be an interesting topic.

from my own sociology background my interesr would ofcourse also be in how this influences the labourmarket (it always has had high pay and lots of perks.. how will that alter) and ofcourse how will this wealth and powerdistribution in society at large.. what are problems you project and possivlble policies you suggest to anticipate for them.

=====
than there are the issues with stagnation (end of mores law) do we need to abadon turing computers and come up with a whole new aproach?
obvious are optical computing and quantumcomputing in future computer designs but you sure can expand.. ofcourse on that level you will want actual blueprints material propeties, production processes all factored in..

but I think so much has been written about that that unless you whizzkid your own unique aproach.. it will be hard to impress with this.

AI is a waste of time, but if you want a machine to do the jobs of a ton of people then you better have a plan on how to keep the people out of work busy or somewhat balanced or they just gonna come smash the server where the AI is housed.

write a paper about how you asked off topic for papers and how much of a terrible idea that was
Or could write something up about launching an AI into space, have it impregnate a planet cause here it will just be used as spam or a useless clunker... it doesn't speak human, doesn't speak anything really.

Maybe send some humans there later.

Sorry to break your bubble, but all humans suck. It''s in our genes. There are no "high intellect" anyone, they're just pretending.

I noticed that my ISP, my junk all my hardware and software keeps me away from the Ai that some of you access too, and that's a good and bad thing.
