Giving a jester to people you disagree with doesn't make them automatically wrong
Some people seem to think this

Edit: Thanks for the jester

Edit: Thanks for the Jester Award, I appreciate it.

Told you.

Why would I ever give 200 points to someone I disagree with?
Let me put it this way: At some point, somebody paid for those awards with real life money. So you essentially give people, you disagree with, money. Not sure, how this is supposed to own them in any way. But you do you...

Err no. Jesters are love. Always have been.
Personally for me, it's when people drop a jester on my comment and then go to my profile and drop one again, thats POWER. 23 times it has happened I pray for many more.

One time someone gatling jestered me, 40 jesters shot all over my reviews, why would anyone get mad at windfall of points and joy?

I don't give clown points to people I disagree with, I destroy them with irrefutable facts and a latin boss chorus. :lunar2019coolpig:

I always more assumed people give them not as a way to prove someone wrong, but just because the person doesn't actually have an argument. That's the vibe I get from people spamming me with them over my hatred of Soldier mains in TF2 and new players in L4D2 instead of actually giving an argument as to why those types of people aren't the absolute worst.
That's true, but sometimes it does damage to the ego and is really funny to see.
