I’m not saying you should be happy on command, but one day you will wake up and realize that those emotions might never come back.
I also have this on multiple occasions. Nothing I can do about it. Walks in nature make me feel better. Or just long walks in general. Exercise. Different scenery. A perfect day.
can be as low as 70mg a day.... i've been taking fake happiness for years...
i am cheap... i cut vitamins in halves and quarters.... as i am no fitness freak busy
person running around all the time..... but a small dose of magnesium does keep
me happy...
I have heard about this magnesium
Isn't it a specific type of it?
i think its all the same......
i didnt even realise i was taking it til i swapped vitamin b tablets that didnt
have magnesium in it and my happiness lowered....
so i went back to my old tablets and the happiness returned within days...
its not like happiness happiness where you just smile all the time its more
of a inner feeling of happiness...
and i only have half a b tablet....magnesium is 70mg... 140mg if i have a full
tablet... but i think there might be a ratio to weight or if you busy doing stuff....
so maybe a full dose might be what others will need....
also...
i didnt find i got happier with the more i took either.... as i bought Magnesium
1000mg tablets and halved them and quatered them and the 8th them.... you just
dont feel sad on them... at all... but when i stopped taking them i wouldnt
call it a depression.. but i just didnt feel happy... or bright... or what ever that
good feeling is... sort of flat sort of bored but not bored... so i just keep on them...
Depression doesn't cause "no hope" rather it's the other way round. A lack of hope contributes to depression. And depressed people are not "helpless", they just need hope, but how do you give someone hope?
Anyway, this thread is not about depression so I'll shut up!!
Hmm I am going to give them a shot. It seems helpful for my situation
I hear it helps for sleep too
hope it goes well and you do get a similar benefit...
AI tells me that magnesium affects stress hormones like cortisol, so you feel less stress. They cited Cleveland Clinic.
