Technically the information about where she went doesn't have to be passed along to the family due to an age law.

So, what if someone actually did this? Has anyone done this? I mean maybe not Carmen specifically but has anyone managed to just uproot themselves and live a double life?

You hear spies doing this kind of thing but it boggles my mind

I've seen so many shows of people living double lives that it almost seems normal. From the guy with 2 families who don't know each other, to the housewife who's secretly an escort. Even saw on MTV once a straight guy who had a double life of being a gay pornstar because he loved the money it paid out. People are weird in general so I think most people probably live double lives. I don't think I would ever live 2 lives though, seems like more trouble than it's worth. I swear MTV had a whole reality show built around this premise, but who knows if my memory is serving me correctly here.

I heard about a show where they switch partners, I don't know if that was on MTV though

Like, does a famous athlete have many families? I assume some do. That would be hard to keep up.

That's like breaking bad level of secrets, I wouldnt live a double life either

remember that guy "John List" that murdered his family and then moved on to start a new one until his neighbor saw his case on "America's Most Wanted"?

I never watched America's Most Wanted. I was too busy watching Unsolved Mysteries where some guy who talking about how he fell in love with an alien or I was watching Rescue 911 which was narrated by William Shatner.
