Compared to what? It's not like humans are that far evolved from animals. We still have the same instincts, emotions, and urges animals do. The only difference is we can think about it a little more than they can. So as an evolved species we are pretty primitive anyway. I'd argue that if we were devolving it would probably actually be a good thing because then we couldn't nuke ourselves out of existence. Perhaps returning to the trees and eating the banana is the thing that will save humanity from itself. Return to monke.
