israel is super cool!!!
in 2018 when i was 20 i lied and pretended to be a jew and went on a "birthright" tour of israel for free. since im half turkish i had a jewish look to me so i was able to go through the whole 10 day vacation FREE without any issues. there was a tall ginger IDF soldier who flirted with me on the trip (birthright tours always have you go with IDF soldiers) and that felt flattering. too bad im gay so i had no interest in going any further.

going on the tour in the holocaust museum on the second to last day was really awkward tho...

thank you zionists who fund birthright tours for the free vacation!!!!! i still cherish this all those years later.

now lets laugh at anyone who replies after ONLY reading the title of the thread and doesn't read my epic story.

if anyone else takes inspiration please be beware that they will wanna talk on the phone with your parents to verify you are jewish so make sure you convince them to lie for you:steamdance:

honestly it was boring. we barely saw any of the historical places i wanted to see, and there was no splitting from the group allowed so i couldnt walk into the dome of the rock or the church of the holy sepulcre which was annoying.

idk lol i dont watch slop. but i did blend in with the crowd and no one ever suspected anything EXCEPT when i landed in tel aviv in the first place the border agent in the airport took away my passport and made me sit in what was basically a box 10x8 feet with a bunch of other muslim looking people because my name on my american passport is turkish LOL. but then shortly after the lady who managed our birthright group came and rescued me and shouted at the border guy "HE IS WITH TAGLIT! GET HIM OUT!"

so many precious memories from that stolen trip:steamdance:

im actually MOSTLY kurdish. my grandmother barely spoke turkish and was only good with speaking kurdish. RIP.
