DOGE ended up costing US tax payers more money.
They even spent $22.6 billion dollars on just paying people not to work, lmao! *slaps forehead*
The only "payday" for DOGE was cancelling contracts and replacing them with more expensive ones under Elon Musk's own companies... or firing people investigating or even fining Elon Musk, and Trump, etc. The FFA fined Elon Musk's SpaceX $633,009 in Civil Penalties for safety issues. The use of new control room before approval and new propellant farm before approval. Elon Musk therefore used DOGE to fire the head of the FFA and a bunch of it's staff, till even planes started to crash. He at least avoided paying that fine, cost everyone else more though.
Well actually, might not of even saved money for Elon Musk either, as his "safety risk" SpaceX launched off and blew up in the sky... most likely costed more than even the fine would of.
