Do you think this is possible with the technology available today?
An "AI generated" brain (artificial mind + Gemini / GPT chip fusion to enhance intelligence) exists for those with Alzheimer's, Multiple Sclerosis, Parkinson's, TBI's and so on. Replacing their entire mind with a new one as their original mind is deteriorating from a disease. That would mean severing ties with their spinal cord and all 12 cranial nerves interconnected in a vast network.

The material will be similar to both grey and white matter with "AI generated" limbic components (synthetic Thalamus, Fornix, Pineal / Pituitary Glands, Cingulate Gyrus, Hippocampus & Amygdala) including an artificial cerebellum. The cumbersome task is now: reconnecting ALL 12 cranial nerves with their "new mind" making them compatible with a living person.

The "artificial nerves" are synthetic, but are they compatible with the ones within their own body? They're comprised of different materials, since the "new mind" is manmade while their original one is natural (born with them), another "Hardware ID" issue or possibly an incompatibility as cells only correspond to what's deemed "natural" or "organic" rather than something fake.

What would be R&G is: would they be able to walk again or have basic motor skills with their new mind? Even if you managed to reconnect every single nerve to it's correct position (including Olfactory: on being able to smell things or Optic: regaining vision like before). The person now has an "AI mind" inside their skull being accustomed to seeing or sensing things very differently.

Another issue would be immune rejection, as it's not an "organic brain" so their immune system may misinterpret it as a foreign object when it's a literal replacement of their diseased brain. Would that mean taking immunosuppressants forever? Will they still have their memories being transferred onto their "fake brain" being able remember things (episodic memories or in general)?

We can't even replicate the brain of a mouse.
AI can't even figure out the concept of hands.
Nowhere close to being possible.
