censorship is a joke
Look how filthy and cruel this world is. Who do you think censorship is protecting? It's gaslighting and virtue signaling any time someone wants to censor anything. People don't want to actually clean up their own act they want to stare at ♥♥♥♥ with rose colored glasses.

Censorship protects those who take offense. And it's a slippery slope. Some say they take offense about ever little thing - like comedy.

And some say censorship is about government control.

There isn't a more fruitless endeavor, than trying to censor stuff. It's the end of the road for creativity.
People are allowed to decide what is and isn't allowed to be said on their property.

But what is the point? Like, you can't say ♥♥♥♥ on the radio, what good does that do?
Censorship is often meant to protect childhood innocence. Thing is it should be limited to just that: The children. A knowing adult shouldn't have to be nannied like that.

Not when you're a business. For instance the Palestinian shop owner who didn't want to serve a guy with an Israeli symbol. Valve has a contract that applies to everyone equally. They can't just allow some people to use words and ban others for it willy nilly, legally.
The FCC also has rules regarding children Valve might want to look at sometime.

Agreed. We should instead encourage people not to take offense.
People who want censorship are usually most rotten ones themselves.

That's a terrible thing to say about the anti-defamation league
