i rather like kholodets, which is an aspic dish. i can understand peoples thinking it looks unappetising and it sort of does, like meat jello. but it tastes savoury, salty and delicious. and you can be putting veggies or eggs or lots of tasty things in it.

Rhubarb is one I hate.

Liver is one I love.

It's called Marmite, nasty stuff, best used for resurfacing roads! The thread title doesn't match the thread contents, my favourite food that most people might despise is cockles, very nice and salty.

haggis is delicious, every holiday i have been on in the UK i have had some. i can understand why peoples thinking it is gross, and if you think about what it is comprised of too hard i could see someone being grossed out by it. but the flavour is so good that i could really care less what it is made of.

sometimes, in this status, the prison food can seem appetizing for me, afterall, all that's left of the world to me, is just a TV screen on the wall, and other criminals.

I can’t think of anything truly disgusting or exotic - perhaps just an unusual combination of sweet and salty, like a delicate salad with beets, chicken breast, prunes, and walnuts. There also is another option with pomegranate, potatoes and carrots.

* Pizza with pear, gorgonzola and honey
* Burger with cherry sauce and blue cheese
* Duck in orange sauce
* Caramelized onions
* Salted Serbian feta cheese, baked sweet red peppers
