This new laws is ridicilious and soon whole internet is gonna be deleted, removing XXXXX games on steam, deleting twitter, youtube, spotify and you can't even age verify yourself without paying tremendous amount of money, and last month banned onlyf*ns. By the end of 2025 there will be no internet left, or will it be entitled only to rich plebs who pay thousand of dollars?

If this continues there won't even be a GTA 6 before it releases because they are gonna ban it aswell because its "age restricted" and "illegal" because it contain "violence" "sex" and "drugs".

Wouldn't be surprised if they tanked the modern internet and reintroduced everything through metaverse's vision of web3 to make it relevant

We'd all have to be virtually sitting on beach chairs staring at each other to continue our counter-productive conversations once this is all over

When you know the internet is fake as in phoney balloney. You turn to games. Now they are pruning.

Well, hopefully it was just porn.

Elon only cares about his own interest. The only way he is going to keep getting government money for his Mars program is if he complies and goes silently into the night, which it looks like that's exactly what he is doing. He's an idiot and he really shot himself in the foot.

As for the internet, it was always going to end this way. If you added up all the data in the world it would exceed an amount I can't even quantify. Think of all the server space and the money being used to power said servers 24/7.

- I actually just looked up how much data the internet has. It's almost at 181 zettabytes. I have no clue what a zettabyte is, but I can imagine it's an unsustainable amount. I think user generated content will culled. Anything that isn't made by a corporation or a studio of note will just disappear. It will happen with everything, not just games.

Only the things that can be monetized and make money will be allowed. So dl all you can, and make back ups of your back ups.

^ a little exaggerated, but the internet is akin to someone taking all the books in a library, ripping out all the pages out of every book, scattering them everywhere, and then a robot called "AI" comes in to this giant pile of papers and you ask it something, and it picks up a random piece of paper and asks "is this what you were looking for?"
