I spent 1 year on a mansion in Minecraft
But the surroundings feel liminal space that makes you feel depressed lol.

Its huge mansion with airports its literally a little city a complex.

I mean, it should be full of people here, but it's empty, there are no living creatures, no villagers, and it feels artificial.

Do you have a mod suggestion that would accomplish this?

Villagers They don't feel human, they are so artificial.

You can invite friends to your world if it feels empty.
that sounds really depressing. thank you.
Get the villager name mod that automatically names every villager from a list

liven things up
10/10 need a copy of that save so i can start depressionmaxxing.
I have a forever singleplayer world.
I used Amulet editor to take all my old saves and splice in my bases / builds from a decade of playing in random worlds.

For the builds I didnt have saved I used screenshots and memory for stuff even back to the Ipod Touch pocket edition,

Then I made my own legacy / Classic Texture pack that changed the textures I didnt like and restored the old ones I did.

Then I made a Modlist with 200 ish mods to perfect / complete the game.
I'm never going to update it.

In this world I built a pretty big mega base. To make it feel alive it has many automatic machines.
For example, I have a small datapack that lets me smelt a charcoal from a bamboo block,
I made a machine that automatically farms bamboo, turns it into a block, then smelts that block, feeding the result into an auto-smelter for all my furnace needs.

it has a cool water pipe and a click as it feeds the charcoal into the machine.
The pistons on the bamboo farm also do a satisfying chunk
Games like Valheim I’m never lonely. This might sound weird but I tamed a lot of animals and give them nicknames.

Extremely similar.

do you plan to share on minecraft map store for few dollars or something ?

I put in a lot of effort, I have 101 mods, I preserved the vanilla completely.

optimization and realizm modpacks i had

i saw other people sell their maps on minecraft store for 1 dollars which is low effort.
far away from any aesthetic..

I imagine that you mean a mansion on this scale:

You could give the villagers rooms to be their home, and other rooms to be where they work. You could fill up rooms with decorations, lights etc… and you could also find some realistic villagers mod.

It's just for me.
I've gone out of my way to personalize every aspect. I even edited recipes and mods to make them all fit.

For me the best way to make it feel alive was to make it mine and fill it with machines and tasks.

It's not a decoration- it's a functional base. It's probably only 20% done
simply find villagers and associate oneself with them ^_____^
Minecraft Comes Alive is one mod
Thanks for suggestions i will check it.
Open it up to multiplayer?
