UK Crime: Foreign governments issue warning

Australia, France, Canada and even Mexico are advising their citizens to exercise caution when travelling to the UK.

The Australian government has raised the UK travel advice from a Level 1 to a Level 2 warning, urging Australians to “exercise a high degree of caution” when visiting Britain.

Meanwhile, violent crime has gone up by 30 per cent during Sir Sadiq Khan’s nine-year tenure as Mayor of London.

Why has the UK become such a hot place for criminals?

It's really not a hot place for criminals, most major forms of violent crime like murder have gone down per capita, the only things that have really increased are phone snatching, shop-lifting and fraud.

Overall the UK and London particularly are some of the safest and most crime free places on Earth and many parts are better today than 10 to 20 years ago, let alone further back.

Actually, it's been falling since 2023.

I let local police forces handle the poor, desperate and dumb petty criminals. The Naughty List exists for the most evil of counter-revolutionaries, anti-proletariat, bourgeois filth and hateful bigots!

Doesn't surprise me. The one graph I saw only went back five years and there was a small rise around 2023.

But yes, the claim that this is Khans fault is because Trump and Khan really hate each other. Whatever Trump & co. say, Khan is very popular and the murder rate in New York is nearly four times higher than in London despite the fact that they have about the same populations.

Most western countries have seen a decrease in homicide rate since the late 90's. Most also started climbing back up around 2015, then peak during the Covid scamdemic, and started to fall back down in the past couple years.

i went to New York in 2000 and everyone i spoke to was loving the fact crime was going down. 1 person called it a renaissance.. i felt totally safe the entire time (as far as 105th street :D)
