Well you can't even anchor in the middle of the ocean lol so that's pointless. I'd just be anchored about 100m off shore, just outside the radius of the marina, to avoid paying the fee and the avoid being close to people.
Whenever I need food or want to explore, just hop into the tender and go ashore. And I'm from Europe so I'd stay in the Mediterranean anyway which has amazing satellite coverage.
