Edit: I just wish he could have a third term, four years isn’t enough to fix everything, though he’s clearly doing his best. Maybe via a constitutional amendment?
At least Vance, his preferred successor, seems likely to continue the work. Musk’s help wouldn’t hurt either, if needed.
Anyway, I’m genuinely encouraged by how well everything’s going so far.
Trump hates his own son Barron playing video games while he "weaves" (makes a speech to fall asleep to), so doesn't care about it at all.
Trump quote: "But if you’re building in the United States of America, there’s no charge." - you can't do that for cheap in America, plus there wouldn't be even enough. The slave labour should be amusing however.
Build in usa or face massive tariffs.
HECK YEAH!!!!

Certified built in the USA
Plus Nvidia is making investments in U.S. manufacturing and they plan to produce Blackwell chips in Arizona. In order for Blackwell to be relevant, Nvidia is pretty confident that they can do this in less than a year and a half.
So instead of having a fully assembled video card sent from China, it probably makes more sense to send the board partners send their P.C.Bs. and coolers to the U.S.A. and solder on the U.S. made chips.
It's probably not going to be a big problem, especially since the companies took advantage of the tariff pause to stockpile inventory before the bigger tariffs kicked in.
Have you seen the Trump T1 mobile? They had to remove the "Made in America" and replace it with "made by hands in America" for legal reasons. Because it's a China product that costed $146 dollars, yet Trump sells for $499, while leech off other providers, etc.
It's so stupid and illogical, that they couldn't even do it themselves. Yet still upsell foreign goods themselves to the MAGA cult.
Before then, Trump was up-selling China goods in his own Trump Store:

He clearly thinks your are all idiots.
Trump quote: "They can’t get jobs, because there are no jobs, because China has our jobs and Mexico has our jobs!"
Trump also, handing out jobs to China and Mexico due to cheaper products to sell to MAGA and make a massive profit upon himself.
yeah, the "made in" labels do not really mean nothing anyway no matter what country they are in. because for something complex like a vehicle, the chances of every single element of its construction being mined, refined and built in one country are very low. so at least the "made by hands in america" at least makes more sense.
