TF1 was decent
TF2 had mudflap and the other one.(They JarJar'ed their own franchise)
I stopped there.
Transformers One was great, though it had "magic"... which really diverged from the G1 cartoon, though it was a fun experience.
I don't expect any newer editions to be good. Change my mind.

I recommend watching the third movie dark of the moon. It had the most action, coolest Optimus, and a good conclusion to the trilogy. Do not watch Transformers 4 or 5 if you have high expectations.

I saw 1 and 3 or 4 it reminded me of knockoff beast wars with less plot. and half the plot is just 'hey Silent Wind exists.' maybe it got better.

infinity war may as well have been a transformers script for instance.

i do not have much experience with the series other than the "unicron trilogy" of cartoons, armada, energon and cybertron. but i really liked it! i watched all 3 series some years back and quite enjoyed how dark it was, and was actually shocked at how many characters die.

also the subplot throughout the series about starscream turning good and then being caught between loyalty to both the autobots and decepticons was cool.

Megatron is hot

Megan Fox was in the first Transformers movie and thats all I was focused on lol

Ah the one with Marky Mark. It was unoffensively dumb fun, so before things got really bad.

Megatron understands humans more than they do themselves, and has a better sense of humor than most of them..
I don't think of Megatron as a villain at all.

Also, Transformers were the main connection between me and the famous Linkin Park.

ngl you right. Majority of megatrons actions were either in self defense or for the good of his people.
