The Decline of Nightclubs in the West
How do Gen Z youngsters feel knowing that they missed out on the golden age of clubbing?

Nightclub closures and declining attendance are widespread issues, with the UK particularly struggling to attract club goers.

I went clubbing a few times in the 90's, I thought it was quite lame really. The "music" was too loud and there were too many people.

Exactly! Too loud, too crowded, not worth the time or expense.🤨
Has anyone been to silent rave parties? It’s basically where everyone wears headphones and is jamming to the music. Hence “silent raves”.
I was raving in london in the 2230s. Lot of radiation though
clubs mentioned, a favourite story must be told.

went on holiday with some friends to bahrain once, we went to a club in manama that had some guys in it we were pretty sure belonged to AAB, which are shia militants. was terrifying even though they did not do anything sketchy.
and once upon a time there was the disco

I'm sure that a last thing a bunch of Shia militants would have wanted to do is cause a scene at a nightclub and self report themselves going to a nightclub, bad for the "warriors of Allah" image.

aye lol, if they were true believers they should not have been there in the first place. i was mostly just shocked to see them in manama, which is very upscale and touristy.
