Bot infestation
So recently steam has been hit with this particular bot infestation, comes to profiles of users and leaves like 2 emojis. I've counted 50+ accounts and everyday another one pops up. Is Valve gonna do anything about this or are these bots just gonna run rampant?

Sure, Funky Monk. We'll just go ahead and ban everyone who posts on other user's profiles because you say so.

Ill report those on my profile, strange thing is all these accounts are banned from a game, clearly someone knows of their existence yet they didn't shut em down completely

yeah i had some too, valve does ban bots but i think it comes in waves instead of case by case. and really i guess to me it is not such a big issue if they just spam my profile with some nonsense, i can just delete it or block the bot. or both

They're probably stolen accounts or just leftover cheater accounts. Now that they can't cheat in games anymore, they just go around advertising scams.
Batty lets fly now and then.
Nothing unusual
This issue was addressed under a recent topic on "Steam Discussions" and people are pretending it's not a recent problem that has exploded drastically.

That. Because Steam moderation is a horrible piece of sh!t. They can't even ban Holocaust "justifiers" accounts.

We should really get paid to report and helping them doing their job, but they don't even do it properly. Literal pieces of sh!t.
People have an appetite for fake these days.
