In multiplayer games, rewarding players who work together rather than two pro soloists trying to outdo each other.
Also puzzle games having a unique solution/mechanism that might be useful IRL.
joke endings in games that have a multitude of different endings. for example, the UFO/joke endings in the silent hill series. a lot of fighting games with stories, like blazblue for example, have a lot of really hilarious non canon joke endings.

i mentioned the silent hill series in my comment, the original quadrology has lots of cool unlocks you can get after completing the game. laser guns and lightsabers, chainsaws and bug spray that somehow kills monsters, sailor moon costumes and skimpy nurse outfits.
That stuff is awesome. Makes replying games feel a bit more worthwhile, even if it’s just for a laugh.

Multiple path/options in quests.

theres a reason a lot of rpgs like

- fallout 1, 2, new vegas
- planescape torment
- kotor 1 and 2

are very beloved. having multiple, sometimes MANY different ways to complete a quest depending on your strengths/weaknesses is extremely cool.
Chest mimic monster

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mimic_(Dungeons_%26_Dragons)

This is a small, mischievous creature that disguises itself as a treasure chest and attacks anyone who tries to open it

Actually I have no idea, I just wrote the first thing that came to mind
