The problem is that shootings are everyday normality in the US, so they don't make headlines except *maybe* in the vicinity where it happens. But even there, an actual school- or mall-shooting would probably be preferred by the news outlets.
At the end of the day, a headline like suggested in this thread, whether it happened or not, is definitely something that is LIKELY to happen in the US.
