There can actually be multiple solutions.
Mathematically both answers are valid.

I always test my riddles before posting them and I'm aware that there are 2 solutions. But logically, which one do you think is more likely to be the right answer - the one where 2 fruits are the same number or the one where different fruits are different numbers? Sixtyfivekills has already figured it out.
