Better than the first one because of the story and gameplay mechanics keeping the game fresh.
I also like Steven Merchant's acting in this.
Imagine a huge buffet of mediocre food that used to taste so much better. Lots of quantity, but lacks quality of the previous ones.

Like eating fresh Nile Perch served with potatoes and creme fraiche (i really like this game despite its flaws)
The game is outward
A frozen TV dinner. Quick, easy, and still decent, but you just know that it isn't as good as the real fresh-cooked meal.
