White privilege is real.
The white people that make this argument are unaware of just how many times they weren't pulled over for simply being white.

They weren't mistreated by police for simply having a bad day.

They have never seen the inside of a jail cell, just for being white in the wrong area.

They have never had to name their child a white name just to make sure their child's application wasn't immediately discarded because of their name.

They have never been beaten down all because of mistaken identity.

They have never feared going outside.

They have never been treated poorly because of their skin color, by somebody of a different color.

They have never had the miserable time of visiting their father in prison who was arrested for made up nonsense with evidence the police fabricated.

They have never been denied a rental application for simply being white.

I could go on and on. White people assume privilege doesn't exist because they don't understand what that privilege has given them. Ignorance breeds this idiotic talking point.

P.S. I took a DNA test and I'm the whitest white to ever white and as I review my past I can see several moments in which my white rear was saved simply because I was white. Give it a try. Maybe you'll notice a moment or two if you're intelligent enough to look beyond your bias.

OP assumes that stuff happens to others for the reasons he's been told. But you're not going to find any actual evidence backing it. It's the power of suggestion based on years of fearmongering and disinformation perpetuated for the sole purpose of creating division. Drop the "white savior" BS. The only ones treating anybody differently based on their skin color, is those types.

And that's a manual example of gaslighting. As little as I like the term.

And there you do it again.

Red states have the lowest of educational standards. The only people that will escape this mindset have to be exceptional. The rest are doomed to their ignorance.

Being less educated = white privilege?

edit: lol, OP deleted his post out of shame

Id be fine with all police being dark skinned. Most of your concerns of bias could then be eliminated

Do you say this whenever someone calls out these BS narratives? Is it gaslighting as well to point out the same party pushing racial division today is the same one that did it in the 50's?

op is right... when me and my wife opened our relationship one of the reasons was because we realized that hetero-normative monogamy is inherently a white ideal.... Polygamy is a beautiful thing and has really opened up my eyes to the wonders of other cultures and the diversity it brings us

Take one of the claims. They're afraid to go outside.

Okay...so this guy thinks black people are afraid to go outside...that seems a little crazy right? Maybe a little racist? Why are they supposed to be afraid? Who are they afraid of? The biggest killer of black people isn't cops or white people it's other black people.

And cops usually kill about twice as many white people as black people, and even then the number is low enough that you'll run a bigger risk of falling out of bed then dying from a cop.

In 2024 around 248 black people were killed by police most of them in lawful shootings. IN the same year around 450 people died from falling out of bed.

This is almost certainly a good example of effectively lying with statistics.

The issue is that when and how people die is important.

If 200 5-year olds are killed in school shootings and 400 elderly people die from falling down stairs, this doesn't mean that stairs are the real problem we need to solve as a society and not school shootings.

(Plus you're comparing falling out of bed among everyone to being shot by police while black so even in your data the conclusion would be that for black people you're at more risk of being killed by a cop)

Heh.
If we assume that "white privilege" only extends to black people unlawfully being shot by the police the number in 2024 drops down to 6 black people dying.

Vending machines tipping over: ~2–3 deaths/year

Champagne corks (globally): ~24 deaths/year

Lightning strikes: ~20–40 deaths/year (U.S.)

Dog bites: ~30–50 deaths/year (U.S.)

Lawnmower accidents: ~70–90 deaths/year

Let's be real, the floor-sleepers are the privileged ones.

"Privilege" would only extend to folks who were unlawfully shot by police, if one is robbing a bank or committing other crimes and gets shot in the process, could it really be used to claim that this is somehow proof of white privilege existing?

Unlawful police shootings/killings would be the thing to examine to find potential privilege and it turns out there were 6 unlawful shooting of black people in 2024. SO literally if they're afraid of going outside for fear of being unlawfully killed by police, they should be more afraid of the vending machine tipping over or falling out of bed or being struck by lightning.

So, the number is 6 for 2024.

Of course, that number would be mitigated even further when compared to the number of unlawful killings of white people. Because privilege needs a comparison.
