I liked Greek and Roman mythology myself.

We never really got too deep into Norse in history for some reason but 9th English grade was all about Beowulf.

I don't have a large preference, I like to study any that has something unique or interesting to learn more of. Egyptian and Roman are high on the list. I assume by ancient we're talking BC era civilizations right?

The Mayans.

They were so accurate with their calendars and prophecies.
Greece because of the mythology
Why BC?

If I wasn't a bear selling balloons to kids at the circus, I'd probably be a Franciscan Monk. They accept Lutherans, I think.

I am drawn to Roman culture because it has merged with Germanic culture.

ancient egypt they made better movie like 10 commandment, god of egypt, pharaoh
Mainland Celts have always been understudied, a lot of their innovation was absorbed by Rome.
I find the Aztecs very interesting especially their evil spirits and devils culture.
