Why the global south is moving north
Climate change is the real reason behind the mass migration to western Europe and the United States, it's not some government conspiracy to replace white men.

Horn of Africa drought: Worst in 40 years.

Pakistan floods (2022): ⅓ of country underwater from glacier melt + record rains.

Amazon dieback: Forest drying, now emitting CO₂.

Sahel desertification: Farmland turning to dust.

South Asia heatwaves: 50°C extremes, now 30× more likely.

Central America drought: Crop failures pushing migration.

Madagascar famine: First famine directly blamed on climate change.

The mass migration will continue indefinitely and cultures will eventually merge to create a global identity.

Yeah this is not a surprise, climate change and its warming effects make ppl from hotter places go to other less warm places

And since most of the mass on earth is to the north, and with more opportunities, then yeah ofc people will move upwards lol

I feel like OP is kinda suggesting it's the west's own fault that there are all these economic migrants showing up on their nations doorstep. Like "hey you are responsible for global warming, so now you get what you deserve" kind of sentiment.

But this view neglects to consider China's disproportionate responsibility for GHG emissions in modern times, and how they aren't suffering from the same migrant problems.

So benefits and lack immigration policies have nothing to do with people moving here ??
Wait until poop really hits the fan in few decades and masses of people start to move north fighting for their lives.
Meanwhile Trump deregulates greenhouse gasses, passes laws to destroy national parks and pollutes as much as he possibly can.

In short : your gonna assume something that opens the door to use your "whataboutism"card.
Yeah man you just solved the global warming problem by blaming someone else in a non existent assumption congrats.

China currently puts out the most emissions per year (because the world has more or less outsourced all of their industry to them), but the U.S. is responsible for the most emissions of any nation in history. Almost double that of China's total output. Almost 25% of the total global output.

LMAO, good grief. An imperceptible change in weather over the past 30 years is not a valid scapegoat. It's poor people moving to nations offering them free ♥♥♥♥. Period. It's not that complicated.

There were subtropical plants growing there already during the era of humans.

The west destabilised the Middle East and Africa through wars.

I do agree it really isn't because of weather, it's definitely because Europe actually seems safe.

The middle east destabilised itself by being in war with itself more.

The US "south belt," referring to the Sun Belt, is experiencing a shift northward due to climate change.

It's happening everywhere, even in the US.

That's why Putin wants the arctic regions.

They definitely do it more for economic reasons than climate change, they haven't got ♥♥♥♥, let's be real regardless. Aren't they in a economic crysis right now still?
