The Supreme Court will take up the case this Fall.

The late great Justice Scalia dissented to the Supreme Court’s decision on gay marriage in 2015 and called the ruling a threat to American democracy.

"So it is not of special importance to me what the law says about marriage. It is of overwhelming importance, however, who it is that rules me. Today’s decree says that my Ruler, and the Ruler of 320 million Americans coast-to-coast, is a majority of the nine lawyers on the Supreme Court. The opinion in these cases is the furthest extension in fact— and the furthest extension one can even imagine—of the Court’s claimed power to create “liberties” that the Constitution and its Amendments neglect to mention. This practice of constitutional revision by an unelected committee of nine, always accompanied (as it is today) by extravagant praise of liberty, robs the People of the most important liberty they asserted in the Declaration of Independence and won in the Revolution of 1776: the freedom to govern themselves.

So how is gay marriage problematic for children?

The party that says they care about the children and want to protect them only wants to control women's bodies, make abortion difficult and when the kid is born they don't care anymore. The only thing this party cares about is ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ them and covering it up.

For those whom claim gay marriage is a right afforded by 1st amendment obviously has not lived in United States. Nowhere in the constitution that would protected gay marriage. That was invented by the leftists at the time were in control of supreme court.

As if bigots need an excuse or that society in the US has turned against LGBT rights..

Support for equal marriage continues to be at an all time high in the US, this is just about the right wing wanting to desperately roll back progress, while they still have any chance to do it, before the older ones die off in droves and the reactionary support goes into an even steeper decline.
